Thirty-nine-year-old Rebel Wilson is one of the most popular actresses in Hollywood. Loved by her fans as well as colleagues, Rebel Wilson according to many is quite the character. Rebel was born in Sydney, Australia and raised in different parts of Australia including Kenthurst, Castle Hill and Parramatta. Being a recipient of the ATYP International Scholarship, she moved to New York in the year 2003 where she attended the University of South Wales. In the year 2009, she graduated with a degree in Theatre and Performance as well as a bachelor of laws degree.
She was then appointed the International Youth Ambassador for Australia and had to move to South Africa for a year. Her big break came about when she got the chance to write, create, produce and star in a musical comedy series called Bogan Bride that aired in SBS for a while. She stared in a film called Bargain in 2009 which earned her her first award as best actress.
In the year 2011, she moved to Hollywood where she got cast in movies like Bridesmaids, rules of engagement, small apartments, a few best men, what to expect when you are expecting and struck by lightning all between the year 2011 and 2012. In 2012, she also got the role of Fat Amy in the musical pitch perfect.
This is by far her most reviewed movie, best seller and the movie that won her several awards. She has since then appeared in two other pitch-perfect movies, more than a couple of comedy series, romantic comedies, drama series, and hosted a list of events including the MTV Movie Awards. Her latest role was in the movie isn’t it romantic where she played the main character.

In the movie, ‘Isn’t it romantic,’ Rebel Wilson plays the character of an awkward Natalie who grows up full of skepticism about romance but gets in an accident in the subways and wakes up to find that her life is part of a romantic comedy.
The movie is themed around the idea of romantic comedies and is centered on making fun of all the clichés in a romantic comedy. In some way, it appears to be an anti-romantic comedy.
Rebel’s character Natalie has a group of friends which include a gay, stylish neighbor and friend, a hot nemesis, a best friend who happens to be her soul mate but she doesn’t see it and of course, the hot stranger who caused the subway accident who she is kind of into.
