Dr. Sameer Jejurikar is on the staff of the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute in Texas. He attended school at the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital, and at the University of Michigan.
In 2012, Dr. Jejurikar was presented with the Compassionate Doctor Certificate. This award, which only about three percent of the nation’s doctors receive each year, is based partially on good reviews from patients and patient votes. Following this award, he was put on the American Registry’s Business Excellence Registry.
At the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institue, Dr. Jejurikar offers a variety of cosmetic surgeries, as well as some reconstructive procedures. He has three categories of surgeries: breast surgery, facial procedures, and body contouring. His breast surgeries include gynecomastia, breast lifts, breast reductions, and breast augmentations. His facial procedures include blepharoplasty, facelifts, rhinoplasty, and chin implants. Finally, his body contouring procedures include buttock augmentation, tummy tucks, mommy makeovers, lower body lifts, and liposuction. Dr. Jejurikar also offers non-invasive procedures.
Dr. Jejurikar is an active member of the medical community and holds positions in the Dallas Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, and the American Board of Plastic Surgery, for which he acts as a diplomate. He often writes medical articles that have been published in such journals as Annals of Plastic Surgery and the Journal of Surgical Research.
Often, Dr. Jejurikar travels internationally to offer his services as a plastic surgeon to the less fortunate. He has worked with the organization Smile Bangladesh, where he provided reconstruction surgery for impoverished children in and around Bangladesh.
